Constructed in 1917, the Pacific Electric Railroad viaduct over Spadra Road, shown here in 1927, was one of Fullerton's most recognizable landmarks. "Welcome to Fullerton" was written on the north side of the archway; "Fullerton - Come Again" on the south. When the landmark became a hazard to large trucks traveling down Spadra, it was razed in 1964.
